To share the writing related things I’m quite proud of, I will put them on here to not only share, but to underline my gratitude to anyone who has given them to me. Like the the blog awards.

Blog Awards

Since beginning ‘Continuous Strings’ in order to chronicle my misadventures with the world of writing, I have had the honour, nay, pleasure, of receiving many a blog award! This page will showcase the loveliness of my awards and express my joy at getting them!

Each year, should I ‘win’ in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo for short), I will post my ‘winners’ certificate(s) here.

Here is what some terribly nice people have spent some time saying about my lovely work. Yay for me!

Review of ‘The Heroine of Crundle Lane Bridge’ (nb ~ based on older version of story)

Sad story. You have a lot of imagery and emotion packed into this chapter. “Morphed into the hellish depictions of demons and gargoyles on churches, belying their strict Catholic upbringing” is really good. You do a good job of showing the story rather than telling it. For example rather than saying “Mary was a sad and abused little girl”. You show us by letting us know the only thing she can hang her hope onto is a stuffed rabbit.  Good story.

Looks like I’m echoing the Limebirds’ sentiment, but one can never be too lovely. I’ve nominated Continuous Strings for the One Lovely Blog Award from Love the writing – keep it up!
