There is word on the down low that the fabulously fun 90’s game show favourite The Crystal Maze is making a TV come back.
Originally running from 1990 – 1995 (who doesn’t love admiring the amazing 90’s hair styles when watching the show on repeats?) the show clocked up more than 80 episodes before it was cancelled.
Now it appears that there is talk of a special celebrity edition heading our way soon, thanks to Channel Four wanting to tap into the nostalgia and affection so many of us have for the show. It is also part of an awareness campaign for cancer – which is never a bad thing.
Possibly the other jointly exciting rumour is the shows front man being said to be former Time Lord David Tennant. He has the right bonkers personality to host this show, which was originally helmed by Rocky Horror Show creator Richard O’Brien.
Will any of this come to pass? It is more than rumour?
We can only hope. Personally, I always wanted to go live in the Medieval Zone with Mumsy!
Now… where is my harmonica…?
