Appeal: Send a Christmas Card to Layton

I recently came across an appeal from the family of a 9 year old boy with a terminal illness.

Layton Robinson-Bancroft (credit: Facebook/ Layton Robinson-Bancroft/ITV)

His name is Layton Robinson-Bancroft and he sadly has mitochondrial disease.

Thing is – this little boy loves opening post. I know I love it! As long as it’s not junk mail or bills… So, to make his Christmas a bit more lovely, his family has requested that anyone who would like to send little Layton a card to open – to please do so.

Send a card from wherever in the world you might be, whether it is in the UK or anywhere else! It will make Layton smile to get loads of cards from lots of different people from all over.

Be a friend he hasn’t met yet!

Send your card to:

Layton Robinson-Bancroft, 35 Church St, Golborne, Warrington, Cheshire. WA3 3TP. United Kingdom.

I’ve sent mine – so get yours sent too!

Thank you,

Cat x
